Membership Requirements

You need to be a member of CFA Institute to become a member of BCFAS, unless applying for Student Membership. Please elect Baltimore CFA Society (“BA”) as your local society.

Annual Dues:

CFA Institute and Member Society dues are billed and collected on an annual basis from July 1 through June 30.  Member Society dues vary and are non-transferable.  In addition to CFA Institute dues, BCFAS annual dues are $50.  BCFAS does not prorate dues.

 Applicant Forms:

Download the CFA Institute Membership application to apply for Regular or Affiliate membership.  One form is used for both categories.  CFA Institute will determine the level of membership.

Download the CFA Institute Membership Upgrade application to apply for Regular membership from Affiliate membership.

Download the CFA Institute Status Change form to apply for Retired membership, change your address, or to cancel/add a Society membership.

Download the Membership Reinstatement form if your CFA Institute membership has lapsed.

Download the Baltimore CFA Society Student Membership form to apply for Student membership.

Download the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct.
